Why is Open Doors at the U.S. Open? We've been coordinating, organizing, preparing and fulfilling our vision to have Open Doors at the Village Chapel during the men's and women's U.S. Open at Pinehurst this year. Why? We want to propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that conducting a Christian outreach just 300 yards from the first tee of one of the greatest golf events in the world makes perfect sense; that Jesus Christ would be represented and glorified.
How can we do that? By being there! By representing Christ as we are called to do. By reaching out to the visitors to the Opens and the Village of Pinehurst in love. We also want to partner and promote the various ministries, organizations and individuals that are on the same path as us; to give the Gospel of Christ in the world of golf. We are called. We are present and we are overjoyed to have this "first" opportunity to be a presence at these wonderful international golf venues to represent the King, Lord Jesus.

During the next 10 days we will continue to focus on the action on the golf course, the buzz in the media, the players we want to focus upon and the ministries and individuals that are part of this program.
