The 2014 Open was an incredible opportunity to "Give the Gospel through golf" and to build a model for Christian “Outreach” golf events into the future.
This “Outreach” was a combination of onsite events, promotional strategies and relationship developing opportunities that coalesced sports ministries and individuals who have a passion to “give the Gospel through golf”.
We saw as a connector of sorts for those that could incorporate this event into their long-term strategy for giving the Gospel through golf; Links Players International, FCA Golf, Athletes in Action, College Golf Fellowship and others.
We saw them catching a vision for the lead-up to the event, their physical presence at the event and their actions after the event to capitalize on this wonderful opportunity to connect with Open Doors, with the other ministries/individuals at the event and those they came in contact with to follow-up and minister/disciple.
