Dear Ambassadors,
PGA professional Greg Powers jumpstarted our day with an informative and entertaining golf clinic. Chick-Fil-A catered our luncheon. A shotgun start followed and our CGA Ambassadors put up signs, raked bunkers, repaired ball marks, looked for errant shots, drove beverage carts, loaded bags, cleaned clubs and most everything else associated with a golf tournament! After play, all the participants enjoyed a great dinner with a lively song set from special guest, Chris McDaniel, former band member with Confederate Railroad. Incredible testimonies were shared by Greg, Chris, and our very own chaplain, Scott Keegan. No doubt - the gospel was presented and many seeds were planted!
This incredible day of outreach ministry was made possible through the generous support of our sponsors:
*Chattanooga Funeral Home (Stephen Pike)
*Covenant Transportation (David Parker)
*Ken Rayborn
*Larry Hill Ford (Larry Hill)
*Lee University (Larry Carpenter)
*Mark Johnson
*McIntire & Associates Insurance (Bob McIntire)
*Rush Funeral Homes (Greg Rush)
*Scott Ferguson
*Southern Heritage Bank (Lee Stewart)
Please express your gratitude to our sponsors and continue to pray. We don't know of specific decisions yet for Christ last night, but we do know that God has promised that His Word will not return unto Him void. In addition to those making personal decisions last night, pray many more will come to know Christ through the follow-up efforts of our team.
We hope to see you at our next outing on Thursday, September 11, as we caravan down to Atlanta for the opening round of the Tour Championship at East Lake Country Club. More details will follow.
Thanks again to everyone who played a role in the success of The Invitational!
Following Him forward,
Ron
