I believe if one is truly a golfer other than in the southern climes, The Masters begins our golf season. It is THE event, what I have called the greatest golf event in the world of golf and I love how Ben Crenshaw identifies Augusta National as the "Cathedral of Golf". Just picture that; pristine fairways, greens and not a weed or a blade of grass out of place, the Magnolias and the Dogwoods in full bloom, that picture of the Gene Sarazen Bridge honoring Gene Sarazen's double eagle there during the 1935 Masters and the fifteenth green just daring the leaders on Sunday to try to get 'er close. It is the Cathedral of Golf, no question.
Well, Kingdom.golf is headed to Augusta. We have made our arrangements and we have a moderate game-plan for our attendance. We are going to engage with "Patrons" and give them an autograph booklet for their use during the event. We are hoping to attend the annual FCA Breakfast conducted on Tuesday morning, this week on April 7th at the Warren Baptist Church, 3203 Washington Road, Augusta, GA. They're not sure which PGA Players and qualifier for 2015 The Masters.will address the audience, but, we can't wait to fellowship with the folks that are attending and get to know Greg Wilson and his FCA staff a bit better.
We have sent out an email inviting as many folks as we can to attend with us and coordinate our time there to possibly have a lunch or dinner, so, if you're headed to The Master's, April 6 - 12, 2015, let us know and we'll try and hook up.
Blessings to you all.....
In Him
