I know, I know, it's been since July that we've posted on this blog, but, trust me, we haven't been doddling over our mission in Giving Others Loving Fellowship (G.O.L.F.). So, how do we move into the 2016 golf season prepared to fulfill the mission?
Wait a minute, Bill, it's November 2015 for goodness sakes. We haven't even gotten close to the 2016 golfing season. Yeah, you're right, but, "preparation" is the operative word here. Now is the time to prepare for the next golf season because, honestly, the 2015 season is over for those of us that live in less temperate climes and, who's really paying attention to the PGA, LPGA, Champions and, especially, the European Tour while wondering who the final four teams will be for the NCAA playoffs? Really, who?
Me, that's who.......
You see, golf is my passion. I want to play and play and play, but, not just play; I wanna play well!! Who can stand not having a clue where your drive will go on each hole or whether we will miss the next 3', 4', 6' or whatever distance important putt? Who? Me!! So, I'm bound and determined to do everything necessary to not repeat the fears of the 2015 season. So, I'm going to prepare.

(But, for those of you who know me, you know that golf is my passion, but, my real love is for my Lord Jesus Christ. I have been given a passion for the game of golf and believe that "as we go ... ", we are to meet other golfers, get to know them and G.O.L.F.
So, we'll get back to the major focus of this Kingdom.golf blog (which will change to HisKingdom.golf very soon). That focus is to highlight the others who have a passion for golf and a love for Jesus Christ as each of us and our organizations go about the business of harvesting the fields or fairways which is our primary calling.
