What do we mean by a "Brigade of Evangelists?"

Our Brigade will be a steady supply of golfers who have a passion for the game of golf and a love for Jesus Christ. We will equip them to “be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you (them) to give the reason for the hope that you have… with gentleness and respect.” 1 Peter 3:15.
We want to provide them the opportunity to prepare their story, enjoy the U.S. Open and engage with others within Pinehurst during their stay to tell their story, invite folks to the Village Chapel activities and, hopefully, help those golfers become intrigued by the Outreach and the use of golf as a platform for discipleship.
Our ultimate hope is that those people who hear the story will visit us or, as minimum, visit our site and connect with a church, a golf fellowship (Links Players) or a CBMC fellowship in their area.
Here is how YOU can be involved;
1. Visit us often and read through our guide to golf evangelism.
2. Let us know of your interest; either online training and/or attending the Open Doors for the Open in Pinehurst.
3. If coming to Pinehurst, let us know the dates, where you will be staying, name, cell phone number and email.
4. Encourage others to participate.
5. Continue to visit our site as we conduct this Open environment and encourage us as we look forward to our next event... possibly, the Masters 2015???
